Coming soon!! You've all seen it in Low Flying first anyway!

It looked stunning!! There was simply no other word for it. The new paintwork showed every line and curve to perfection, and the car looked as if it was brand new – which I suppose effectively it was! We still had a few bits and pieces to tidy up, such as fitting the front grill, but there she was!

 

So – there she was (almost) finished! From the date we started to take the car apart, to this point, the job had taken exactly 7 weeks, including all the Arch and TSK work.

 As I write this, we have already covered about 5000 miles since we finished the rebuild at the end of May, including various track days at Spa and Abbeville, and a 2000 mile trip around the Alps – so far nothing has fallen off! Next month I shall try and sum up this exercise and give our impressions and conclusions now that we have had a chance to live with the finished car……
