A collegue and I attended the final BTCC race meeting of the year, which saw James Thompson clinch the championship. We also saw GT, F3, Porsche and Clio Cup racing.

Craner Curves - fast and daunting.

Arron Slight made a mistake on the first lap and hit the wall directly infront of us. The bang was huge, the crash at about 120mph. He was very lucky to be just winded.

In my opinion his re-working of the Astra's bodywork is an improvement.

Battle of Britain flight provided a nostalgic moment inthelunch break. The noise of these aircraft is just beautiful. Here a Spitfire banks away from us.

Good access to the pits and team work areas behind the pits is a bonus at the race meeting. It was the first time I have been to a race meeting, and glorious weather, a selction of races and the thrilling conclusion to the BTC Championship made a great value day out.
